Holmes Mill Wedding Open Day

Holmes Mill is a beautifully restored former textile mill located in the heart of Clitheroe in Lancashire. The mill has been transformed into a unique and stunning wedding venue, and recently hosted a wedding open day that left guests in awe. Here's a snapshot of the day from my perspective, attending the Mills open day.

Future brides, grooms and entourage were greeted by the venues warm and friendly event staff who were ready to show guests around their stunning venue, that had been beautifully decorated for the occasion. The exposed brick walls, wooden beams, and industrial decor gave the space a rustic yet modern feel, creating a perfect backdrop for your wedding.

Holmes Mill has an impressive variety of spaces available: The Cotton Room which is perfect for large receptions, while the elegant Bistro is the ideal setting for a more intimate celebration. The venue boasts a luxurious Bridal Suite, which is spacious and elegantly decorated.

Guests had the opportunity to meet with some of the other suppliers who work with Holmes Mill, including magician, florist and venue dresser. It was great to see the range of services available, and suppliers poised ready to chat with the guests about their big day.

Overall, the Holmes Mill wedding open day was an awesome experience which I am sure left guests feeling inspired and excited for their own big day. The venue is stunning and the Holmes Mill team are friendly and welcoming.
