Snap Headshot Swap Day

The Northern Quarter in Manchester is a vibrant place that's full of character, culture, and creativity. It's known for it's street art, independent shops, trendy cafes and bars, making it a popular destination for all.

I took the opportunity to join a group of photographers for a 'headshot swap day’ as well as exploring the area and soaking up the atmosphere.

Arriving in the Northern Quarter, we were met by colorful street art and graffiti which covered the surrounding walls and buildings. The creativity and boldness of the art provided a great backdrop for our shoot. Every turn we took led us to new murals, each with it's own unique style and message.

As we wandered deeper into the Northern Quarter, we found plenty of hidden gems to explore. As we continued our photo adventure, we made our way towards the famous Afflecks Palace, a multi-story emporium of alternative and indie shops. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking for unique finds.

To wrap things up we grabbed something to eat at BAB NQ, a casual venue with an industrial vibe, prepping meze & kebabs with homemade sauces & marinades.

Overall, my day trip to the Northern Quarter was a fantastic experience. It's a place that's brimming with energy and creativity, making it the perfect backdrop. If you're ever in Manchester, I highly recommend checking it out for yourself.
